AREA TWO: MEDITATION LABS

Where ancient traditions meet Scientific Research

There is currently a lack of dedicated facilities offering objective assessment for advanced meditators. All Here Meditation Labs address this gap.

We offer assessment services based on scientific EEG, ECG, MEG, fMRI, and other physiological measurements to help meditators understand and monitor their progress.

Our goal is to promote a deeper, evidence-based understanding of meditation.

ASSESSMENT SERVICES

Modes of Measurements

We are committed to advancing the scientific understanding of meditation through research and collaborations with leading scientists.

EEG features

EEG Features

The frequency bands and power (Alpha, Theta, Delta, Beta, Gamma, infraslow), the topographic distribution of the EEG signal, baseline analysis (trait), comparison between the baseline and a meditative state (state).

Advanced EEG features such as connectivity, asymmetry, phase lag, etc.

MEG and fMRI access

MEG & fMRI Access

Advanced neuroimaging technologies used to study brain activity and structure during meditation with high temporal and spatial precision.

MEG enables detailed analysis of gamma oscillations, infra-slow waves, brain localisation, and neural dynamics, while fMRI provides insights into functional connectivity and deep brain activity.

Physiological Measurements

Heart rate, HRV, respiratory rate, skin conductance, and other physiological signals.

Cognitive and Behavioral Tasks

Assessment of cognitive performance and behavioral responses to complement physiological and neural measurements.
