AREA ONE: THE QUANTIFIED MEDITATION SYSTEM™

Real-time visibility into the Meditative Mind

All Here conducts scientific research and quantification of the Meditative Mind & Brain through Quantified Meditation and advanced brain imaging technologies.

Integrating high-density EEG, dynamic electrical neuroimaging, microstates and brainwaves in milliseconds resolution, artifact detection and various BCI features and other parameters, the Quantified Meditation System™ (QMS) provides a real-time window into meditation — making the invisible visualized as live streaming scientific data.

Each session produces a Quantified Meditation Report, visualising brain activity recorded during meditation and analysed by the Neuroscience team, contributing to the objective assessment of practice.

At the heart of All Here is the pioneering of Quantified Meditation and the Silent Mind Index, bringing together science, technology, and advanced meditation practice.

Quantified Meditation Indexes

Measuring Meditation in Real Time

The Quantified Meditation System™ makes visible the neural dynamics that unfold during meditation using advanced neuroscientific methods. Brain changes are captured through indexes that reveal shifts in mind-wandering, concentration, self-awareness, and heightened perception, while also highlighting moments of the clearest ascent toward Stability and Silence of Mind.

Concentration & Mindfulness Index (CMI)

Reflects mind-wandering, attention regulation, and self-awareness in the present moment.

The index rises as the mind disengages from thoughts of the past or future while simultaneously directing attention inward.
It provides a clear measure of stability and attentiveness versus distraction and restlessness.

The CMI is measured by using Microstate Analysis to characterize patterns of activity across the entire brain, each lasting only a few milliseconds. This calculates the extent to which brain patterns align with signature patterns of mind-wandering, attention regulation, and self-awareness.

Brainwave Power

Brainwaves occur in different frequencies, each linked to specific physiological and mental states unique to certain meditation styles and depth levels.

Alpha waves
When Alpha Power rises, it signals an open-monitoring meditation style: passively observing sensations, thoughts, and objects without reacting.
When Alpha Power falls, it reflects single-pointed attention: alpha suppression, a well-known marker of focal attention.
Gamma waves
The brain's fastest waves reflect large-scale neural synchrony and heightened perceptual awareness, tending to increase most during energy-based techniques.
Infra-slow waves
The brain's slowest rhythms, tending to emerge in advanced practitioners during energetic practices as heightened arousal is regulated into deeper silence.

QM3 – The Peak of Meditation

QM3 represents the summit of meditation and the ability to remain there beyond a single moment.

While a single moment may reveal a height, three continuous minutes demonstrate true stability and depth.

QM3 captures Depth, prioritizes Quality over quantity, and highlights genuine achievement as opposed to prolonged inefficiency.

Silent Mind Index (SMI)

The Silent Mind Index (SMI) represents the ascent towards the Silence of Mind.

Building on the Concentration & Mindfulness Index (CMI), the SMI incorporates additional brainwave changes that signal entry to this profound state.
