The Home Within: All Here and EPFL’s neuroscience collaboration expands team

The Home Within, All Here’s neuroscience and engineering collaboration with EPFL, has expanded its project team with the exciting addition of VR, cognitive neuroscience and biomedical engineering specialists Hang Yang, Loup Vuarnesson and Chuong Ngo.

Hang Yang, who carried out his doctoral studies in computational cognitive neuroscience in Marieke van Vugt’s Lab at the University of Groningen, joins the team as a postdoctoral researcher to explore the linking of self-consciousness, meditation practice and virtual reality.

Loup Vuarnesson joins as a VR developer having completed his PHD between the SpatialMedia Group of the EnsadLab (Paris) and the company Emotic.

Chuong Ngo joins the team as a biomedical engineering specialist from RWTH Aachen University where he worked as a senior researcher in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.
Hang, Loup and Chuong join The Home Within project team operating from the Blanke Lab at EPFL in Geneva as it continues to explore the combination of neuroscience, VR and meditative practice.
