World Meditation League to launch in 2024
3 Jan 2024

Meditate, Transform, Thrive… plans for the new era of meditation are announced at the 25th INCOFYRA conference.

Bengaluru, 3 January 2024. — Erkin Bek, meditation expert, entrepreneur, and Founder of All Here, announced plans to launch the World Meditation League at the 25th INCOFYRA conference in Bengaluru, India.

In partnership with advanced meditation practitioners, scholars, and leading neuroscientists, the World Meditation League, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, will pioneer a new era where meditation becomes a mainstream professional pursuit. This was the first time such an announcement had been made, with industry experts eagerly awaiting further details of the official launch.

“Our vision is to begin a new era of professional meditation where meditation becomes mainstream, a cornerstone of our daily lives.”

— Erkin Bek, Founder & President, World Meditation League

Professionalising Meditation

Developed in partnership with Professor Olaf Blanke of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) and Dr. Manjunath N. K. of S-VYASA University in Bengaluru, the World Meditation League aims to professionalise meditation as a mainstream occupation.

Its ambition is to identify impactful meditation techniques by observing the peak meditative states of advanced practitioners and developing scientifically established benchmarks. The initiative seeks to elevate the global meditation community into a prominent and financially viable ecosystem.

A Global Platform for Meditators

The World Meditation League will professionalise meditation through championship events that provide a global platform for meditators and showcase the benefits of meditation to broad public audiences. Awards, recognition, and significant financial rewards will form an integral part of the championship events, celebrating the most valuable of human experiences.

Meditators often live an athlete-like lifestyle, combining physical exercise, immersion in nature, breathing practices, contemplative study, and meditation sessions. Their time commitment can be comparable to that of an athlete. The League’s aim is to transform meditation into a viable profession centred around the practice.

A Collaborative Future

The World Meditation League seeks to bring advanced meditators and leading scientific researchers from around the world onto one platform of collaboration. This announcement marked the starting whistle of the initiative — an invitation to join a transformative journey of self-discovery and help shape the future of human experience.

Meditate. Transform. Thrive.
