These sessions are a unique opportunity to observe and understand the brain’s performance during your meditation practice, using advanced brain imaging technology and All Here’s Quantified Meditation approach.
1. Preparation
Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned meditator, simply come with an open mind and a willingness to engage.
a. Clothes
Choose comfortable clothes that let you sit and breathe freely. Think soft, loose-fitting, and relaxed.
b. Hair and Make-up
Clean hair and skin is essential – see next page for preparation details.
c. Not feeling well
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you’re not feeling well — before or during your session.
2. Hair & Face Preparation – Essential for Accurate Data
a. Wash your hair the night before or on the day of your session with regular shampoo
b. Wash your face in the morning with plain water or simple, residue-free cleanser
c. Please avoid using the following, as these products create barriers between electrodes and your skin, interfering with signal quality:
– Hair products : conditioner, hair oils, styling products, dry shampoo, and hair sprays
– Makeup/skincare : sunscreens with mineral filters, thick moisturizers, foundation, powder, and aloe vera gel
3. Why This Matters
a. Clean hair and skin are essential for good electrode contact and accurate brain signal measurement.
b. Oils, hair products, and residue can block contact, leading to poor signal quality and unreliable data. This is a research study that requires precise measurements.
