As the world marked United Nations–recognized World Meditation Day, curious minds from different meditation traditions gathered at All Here in Geneva.
Brahma Kumaris practitioners sat beside Heartfulness meditators. Osho, Theravada and Transcendental Meditation® practitioners, and independent seekers, therapists, musicians, scientists. Each arrived carrying a distinct lineage, united by curiosity about science and meditation.
This marked the inaugural gathering of the All Here Quantified Meditation Society.
Concentration and Mindfulness Index
Monika Stasytytė presented All Here’s research on meditation’s effects, highlighting microstates, dynamic neuroimaging, and integration into our Concentration and Mindfulness Index (CMI) and QM³ — a measure of sustained deep meditative states. The All Here Quantified Meditation System (QMS) computes and displays these metrics in real time.
Silent Mind Index and Deep Meditative States
Dr. Chuong Ngo introduced the Silent Mind Index, combining the CMI with observed brainwave changes — alpha suppression, slow waves, gamma activity — to provide a fuller measure of meditation depth. He showed how these brainwave shifts inform the Index using time–frequency analyses.
These presentations demonstrated concrete, data-driven insights from years of research, including EEG data from multiple meditation traditions and high-level practitioners, to be published in 2026.
Technological Applications of Meditation
All Here founder Erkin Bek presented the technological applications of meditation, highlighting how meditation creates opportunities and solutions not only for well-being, longevity, and corporate attention training, but also for science and next-generation brain-computer interface and bio-computing technologies. Stay tuned for extended coverage on this topic that was shared during the event.
The morning concluded with lively and reflective discussions, followed by a gong bath led by Alejandro Notz & Co. that resonated throughout the meditation hall.
Our thanks to everyone who joined us today.
