All Here Brings the Neuroscience of Meditation to International Day of Peace in Warsaw
30 Sep 2026

Warsaw, Poland — On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, leading voices in meditation and science from around the world gathered in Warsaw on September 20, including All Here’s Chief Neuroscientist Christoph Michel, who joined Brahma Kumaris’ Sister Jayanti in a conversation on cultivating peace within.

Bringing a scientific perspective to the discussion, Christoph, one of the world’s leading experts on EEG microstates, presented All Here’s research into how measuring these patterns of brain activity can reveal what is happening during meditation — including how the brain shifts from mind-wandering toward greater concentration, presence, and self-awareness.

As we look at how meditation can help develop greater attention, awareness and stability, understanding what is actually happening in the brain becomes increasingly important.

The event marked another chapter in the ongoing collaboration between All Here and Brahma Kumaris — one that continues to explore what established meditation traditions and contemporary neuroscience can learn from one another through research, measurement, and public dialogue.

Read more about how Christoph’s research into EEG microstates is helping advance the science of meditation.
