Erkin Bek, the founder
Erkin Bek, founder of All Here Organization and the World Meditation League, bridges meditation traditions with science and technology.
A scientifically accomplished meditation practitioner, he collaborates with leading institutions, including EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), SVYASA, and the University of Geneva. Erkin has pioneered research on Stability and Silence of Mind, embodied high-energy and explosive practices, using EEG, ECG, MEG, REG and fMRI to measure, quantify and scientifically capture deeply altered and enhanced states of consciousness.
By uniting meditators and scientists, he aims to foster social change in a reliable and objective way, establishing meditation as a scientifically grounded and observable practice.
Erkin found his true calling as a devoted practitioner, deeply immersed in the practice and science of meditation. The quest for inner fulfilment led him to the meditation practices from India to the Far East, leading him to discover silent and explosive meditation practices that have fundamentally transformed him.
Having started his early career as an entrepreneur and not finding lasting and complete contentment from the material world, he has shifted his life focus towards meditation and long-term inner-fulfilment.
Over a long period of time, he has advanced his practice to the high stages of Raja Yoga described in the Yoga Sutras, whereas his long term exposure to Taoist thought & Tai-Chi and Dantian centers, along with Korean martial and visual arts have greatly contributed to advancing his yogic meditation.
They have together played a pivotal role in attaining deeply Silent as well as Explosive states of being, that he describes as reaching Peak Meditative experiences. This has subsequently led him to research these peak experiences using advanced modern technologies. He has analyzed his scientific results with Prof. Olaf Blanke's Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience at EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), with Prof. Christoph Michel at the Neuroscience Department of the University of Geneva and many other scientific institutions around the world. He has also conducted experiments at the research laboratory of the SVYASA University in Bengaluru, India in collaboration with the University's chancellor Dr. Nagendra and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Manjunath NK. ANT-Neuro, a neurotech company based in Berlin and with the help of its founder Frank Zanow has contributed to the meditation research efforts. In 2024, 2025, 2026 at Campus Biotech, FCBG in Geneva, he has conducted complex and unique experiments of simultaneous use of fMRI and compatible high-density EEG system as well as MEG for brain scanning during deep absorptive states. Having conducted extensive artefact detection and removal procedures, he has obtained clear scientific results on both Silent & Explosive meditation recorded.
To test explosive meditation that activates sympathetic nervous system, he has gone to the mountain glaciers, and has run multiple experiments in freezing conditions of -10° Celsius, also with the use of brain imaging technologies.
Erkin is now expanding scientific studies along with All Here Meditation Institute to various established traditions that would include Theravada, Tibetan Buddhism, Zen, Heartfullness as well as other Vedic and Buddhist traditions. He's on the quest to link meditation centres with the scientific institutions to advance the science of advanced meditation for the greater good of the society.
Erkin has authored "All Here" a book of poems on life and meditation (scroll below if you would like to acquire the book) capturing his transformative experiences, and established the "All Here" organization, with a mission to scientifically research peak meditative experiences across various traditions between India, the Far East and internationally. After more than 20 years of exploration into Asian meditation practices, Erkin is now developing new & advanced technologies stemming from special states of human consciousness. He's a lover and player of Indian bamboo flute, the Bansuri, that he considers as a meditative symbol of sound & silence and recorded albums Silent Flute I and II in the recording studios in New Delhi and Montreux.
As founder of the global meditation research organisation, Erkin himself underwent extensive scientific recordings in laboratory settings.
If you would like to explore his scientific results, you can access the publicly available detailed phenomenological and neuroscientific paper, now available as a preprint.

Forum Radio Interview
A Forum Radio Interview with Erkin Bek, Sept. 2, 2025
From external fulfilment to inner fulfilment — listen to Erkin Bek on how it happened, making meditation real with science, and why it is the future of world health.
In this episode of Forum Radio, host Jessica Fellowes sits down with Erkin Bek, founder of All Here and the World Meditation League, to explore the science of meditation.
The discussion dives into what he calls the scientific bottom line of meditation: turning the invisible inner world into something scientifically observable and measurable. That's where the heart of Quantified Meditation lies: the objective assessment of how practitioners move toward deeper meditative states.
Meditation, as Erkin explains, is brain stimulation training. By repeatedly engaging the same brain networks, reducing mind-wandering, and strengthening self-attention networks, we actively build and preserve the cognitive abilities essential for overall mental well-being and long-term brain health. The conversation also touches on longevity and attention in the digital age, where our focus is constantly stolen by the distraction economy.
Meditation, Erkin argues, "is the key to longevity, physical and mental well-being, and staying in shape over a lifetime." That's why meditation should be pursued sooner rather than later: to keep the brain active, adaptive, and capable of going deeper.
With scientific methods and training, meditation becomes a performance — one whose achievements can be finally measured and visualized. Listen to the full conversation and discover how science is making meditation real.

A special force
The silenceembody
Or it stays awayA welcoming of inner void
From gut to eye
From heart to ear
Embody or it falls
Runs far far awayIt's so near, yet so far this simple silence
Enter
or have it enter you
Without entering, the holding may simply be impossibleNo, Observation doesn't work
Observe, then enter
The cosmic void
The empty space
In youembody
or never hold it, beyond a glimpse..
