After All Here’s meaningful meeting with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and the Art of Living community at the World Summit on Ethics and Leadership in Sports in Basel, our Meditation Research team traveled to India in August to visit the Art of Living International Center in Bengaluru.
The Art of Living team warmly welcomed us and expressed sincere appreciation for our shared dedication, emphasizing the great potential this partnership holds.
During our visit, meditation researchers conducted EEG-based Quantified Meditation sessions with seasoned practitioners of Art of Living Meditation Tradition, advancing our understanding of meditation’s high-performance neural signatures and impact.
Art of Living and All Here have expressed mutual commitment to inspiring society to embrace meditation as a transformative and scientifically grounded practice.
One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to meet Ms. Bhanumathi Narasimhan, a respected meditation leader, humanitarian, and educator, whose work spans women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, and education. Ms. Narasimhan, the sister of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, is a leader with a deep, lifelong commitment to advancing global wellbeing through social initiatives.
In our conversations, the team shared recent findings and engaged in a rich discussion on meditation practices. Her thoughtful insights deepened the conversation, offering valuable perspectives.
A sincere thank you to Ms. Sumathi Jayaraman, Director, and all the research team at Sri Sri Institute for Advanced Research at the Art of Living International Center for the warm welcome we received. Their professionalism and dedication are truly remarkable.
This visit further confirms the strong interest and contribution of the Art of Living’s community to advancing the scientific study of meditation.
We look forward to continuing this journey side by side with Art of Living and inspire to meditate with Science and Technology
