Terms and Conditions of Participation

By registering for and participating in this Quantified Meditation Session™, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of the Session

The Quantified Meditation Session™ includes:
• Non-invasive electroencephalography (EEG) recording
• Real-time brain activity visualization via a brain-computer interface (BCI)
• Educational discussion of meditation-related brain dynamics
This session is conducted for research, educational, and wellness purposes only.

2. Non-Medical Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:
• This session is not medical care.
• It is not psychological therapy or counseling.
• It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease.
• No medical or mental health advice is given.

All Here SA is a research and wellness organization and is not acting as a healthcare provider.

You should consult a licensed healthcare professional for any medical or psychological concerns.

3. FDA-Cleared Equipment Disclosure

The EEG system used during the session is a medical-grade device that holds FDA clearance for clinical recording purposes.

In this context, the EEG system is used strictly for non-clinical meditation research and wellness applications.

FDA clearance of the device does not mean that this session constitutes medical care.

4. Brain Activity Feedback and Interpretation

During the session:
• Your brain activity may be displayed in real time.
• You may receive explanations regarding meditation depth and related neural patterns.
• You understand that such feedback is educational and research-based. It is not a medical interpretation, psychological evaluation, or health diagnosis and should not be used to make health-related decisions.

5. Research Participation

This session is part of a meditation research program approved by an Ethics Committee in Geneva, Switzerland.

By registering, you acknowledge that:
• Your EEG and related data may be collected.
• Data will be anonymized or pseudonymized.
• Data may be analyzed for scientific research purposes.
• Data may be securely transferred internationally, including to Switzerland.
• Research findings may be published in academic formats without identifying you.
• Participation is voluntary. You may discontinue participation at any time during the session.

6. Eligibility

By registering, you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You are voluntarily participating.
• You understand the non-medical nature of the session.
• You do not have medical conditions that would make participation unsafe without physician consultation.

If you have a neurological condition (e.g., epilepsy) or other health concerns, you should consult your physician prior to participation.

7. Assumption of Risk

EEG recording is non-invasive and considered low risk. Possible minor discomforts may include:
• Temporary scalp pressure
• Mild skin irritation
• Fatigue from meditation
• Extended sitting
No electrical stimulation is applied.

By registering, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this non-clinical wellness session.

8. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to hereby release, waive, discharge All Here SA, its owners, officers, directors, researchers, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, successors and assigns (“Released Parties”)  from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your voluntary participation in this non-clinical session, including claims arising out of ordinary negligence of the Released Parties. This waiver does not apply to cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. No Professional Relationship

Your participation does not establish:
• A doctor–patient relationship
• A therapist–client relationship
• Any licensed healthcare provider relationship

10. Donations and Fees

Participation may be offered free of charge or on a voluntary donation basis. Any donation is voluntary and does not affect your eligibility to participate.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without creating medical or healthcare obligations.

12. Agreement and Electronic Acceptance

By completing your registration and checking the acceptance box, you confirm that:
• You have read these Terms and Conditions in full.
• You understand the non-medical nature of this session.
• You voluntarily agree to participate under these conditions.
